Agreed!! Nice job Doug. I had a 71 Beetle in Saphire Blue, loved that car!

As for the Vinyl top question - I love 'em, got one on my H.O. car.

Default Update - June 1

After block-sanding all winter, here is where I am now. The doors were stripped, repaired, primed, blocked-out, and fitted with rebuilt hinges. The trunklid and spoiler are ready to go. The remote mirror and marker light bezels are at the plater getting re-chromed. I should be painting Carousel Red before too much longer.

I pulled the wheels/tires from my driver GT-37 and put them on. I got some more quality seat time driving around the field, and posed it for this picture.

I bought my Judge 20 years ago today.

These photos were taken that day (June 23, 1988) my brother-in-law and his dad and I dragged it out of the woods.

Default Update

I don't move very fast. Being a single dad and working 50 hours a week keeps Judge time to a minimum. But things are progressing.

The paint is all buffed out. The inside of the trunk is finished. Taillights are in. Now fitting the trunklid and spoiler. The spoiler still needs to be buffed out and the Judge decal applied. The rear bumper is ready to go on if I could just find a couple of the rubber bumpers that go on the brackets. Doors need to be buffed out and then they can go on.

It's starting to look like a car again!
