Default $799,000.00 JUDGE

hey, anybody know what's up with that 1 of 1 ram 4 black judge convert.
that was restored by custom classic gto. i watched the pictures on their webb site as it was being restored. then they declared SOLD SOLD SOLD!
for $799,000.00. the "in progress" pics page is no longer active on their web site. the car was in the december 2005 issue of hhp. the car was run through the R M collector collector car auction February 10-12 of this month. i checked the sale results and it was a sale at $410,000.00.

The basic problem is that the guy at custom classics GTO is a stinking liar and has zero credibility with anyone in the pontiac world.

You have to understand Tony at Custom Classics. He speaks a different language than we do. I will translate:

Tony: The immaculate numbers matching black Judge is sold at $799,000

The rest of the world: I couldn't find any suckers to buy that restamped, bondo bandit, plain GTO,so I'll run it through the auction, and tell everybody it sold for $799,000.

If you get my drift.

i guess i'm kinda out of the loop when it comes to custom classic. i was scratching my
head when he claimed it would soon be a million dollar car. i should have known when he said it was the world's rarest and most desirable musclecar. to me, the world's rarest and most desirable musclecar doesn't have an automatic shifter.

Did they teach you the secret handshake yet? Can someone tell me about Tony without sugar-coating it? lol Damn...dude must have shafted more than one of y'all to pounce on him like that. I recall seeing the car on a rotissery. Where is it now? Is it bogus? Just curious...not like I'm gonna buy it or anything.

Nothing wrong with that Judge. When you find a 1 of 5 IV Jvert sometimes you have to restore it around the VIN and data plates and use a cloned engine to keep the Car alive. I'm guessing most of us would have done the same - but kept it forever.

Hopefully there is nothing wrong with it. Usually if Tony touches a car it has issues.
