GTOAA NATS Roll Call
One month from today we'll be deep into the events at the GTOAA Nats in Columbus, IN. I've not heard much talk about this on here, especially the drag race. I've still not seen anything formally announced about drag racing, except to say it takes place on Sunday, after the awards and everything else is over?
Anyway, my car is registered and room is booked, so unless something terrible happens (like I break another bone or someone backs out on me) I'll be there. Who else is coming?

I'll be there, it's in my back yard! Hopefully driving my car there Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

A small group of us from the club hosting the convention this year are planning on going to the track on Sunday and talk with management to finalize everything and I'm going to race. Plans as of now are possibly having a Pontiac specific T&T and maybe a trophy race, or people can participate in their regular weekly program. This is a small, older outlaw track with character that I've never raced at before so I'll let you know how it goes after Sunday.

As of noon today...275 active registrations, 600 people, and 230 cars...GOING TO BE A GOOD TIME! From the start we said 225 cars and 275 registrations would make for a real nice show. No inflated marketing numbers, that's the real deal so far.
I've also received confirmation that Cummins Factory tours are a go! Sign up will be available at registration. Tours in groups of 10 will be offered Weds/Thurs/Fri afternoon and mornings at the Midrange Engine Plant (where we make the 5.9/6.7 for the Dodge Ram) and the newly refurbished Columbus Engine Plant (where we will make the new 5.0 V-8 for Nissan Titan).
