What a shame." BEHIND THE BARN FIND ROUGH PROJECT" So including a Barn nearby makes it a barn find now.

and nice honest description, nice change from the "optimistic" descriptions often seen on eBay

That's a typical NY piece of crap rot box. Not anything of value except the tags and PHS. The guy could have gone through the process to obtain a transferrable registration. Would make getting a title in another state a breeze.

With that car you would have to jack up the radiator cap and drive another car under it.

Is it really a Judge, or just a GTO with a judge spoiler?

The PHS says it's a Judge.

Low option one at that.

5-6 year old car when it was parked hence the 62,000 miles, typical heart of the rust belt car. Because of the high humidity from Lake Erie the rust keeps on going even when the car isn't being driven. "Rust never sleeps".

The hot and cold cycles cause condensation on the metal that keeps it wet/damp a good deal of the time and the pinch welds never get completely dry. I guess people that haven't lived next to a huge expanse of water that rarely sees humidity below 70% and commonly sees 85-90% humidity along with very liberal use of road salt just have no idea of how quickly a car can get this bad. The cities surrounding Lake Erie have roughly 50% days overcast so the sun doesn't get to dry cars out often enough. Even inside of a building, they still keep rusting. Add a concrete or dirt floor and you add even more humidity.

I live in the epicenter of the rust belt, I remember as a kid watching family cars rot out in three years. My mom had a 73 regal that had blotches of rust all over the body and I remember seeing the gas tank and the driveway in the trunk, and she replaced it with a 76 lesabre so it was only 3 years old.
