Default Pontiac 3.25 main 4.5 stroke 488 rotating assembly

I've decided to sell my 488 rotating assembly to concentrate building a 428 blower motor instead.

The crank is a Scat 3.25 main 4.5 stroke forged unit with dyno time only

Pistons are 4.18 diameter forged Ross pistons w/o pins that I bought used from a member here for use with 6.700 rods

Rods are 6.700 Speedmaster BBC .990 floating forged rods new in the box.

$1350.00 plus the ride from Colorado. It's heavy!!

As for trades, the only thing I'm interested in would be 6-71 or preferably 8-71 blower stuff minus the intake.

I'll take $100 off since I don't have pins (.990x2.930). Near new crank, new rods and lightly used pistons and a huge savings!

Are the pistons flat top or domed? I would be building a street monster with it so don't need high compression.

I am very interested in this, I currently have a 455 block that I believe is .30 over might need slight clean up. I live in OKC so not to far, i know this is out there but do you have any clue how much shipping would be from there? Wish this was 20 yrs ago- i was in the Air Force and flew into Peterson AFB regularly in an airplane big enough to bring it back no problem. You are asking 1250 plus ride correct?

It was closer to 30 years ago, but I was stationed at Ft. Sill OK myself. I actually bought my 78 T/A in Lawton OK. Yes I will take $1250 for it since I was not able to find pins and that will more than cover it. I really don't know what shipping would cost but I have a good crank box for the crank and will measure and weigh it. I'll find a suitable box for the pistons and rods and do the same. On the up-side, I only charge actual price and I do get a military discount since I'm Retired Army so that helps a little.

OK, Lets do this. I live at
Garry Herman
14170 Hummingbird
Choctaw OK 73020--see how much for the shipping
I was actually thinking if shipping is ridiculous taking the drive over the long weekend but I guess we will see how much. I would not do a cannonball run out and back , spend the night so thats probably more than shipping. This is my first time buying something on here so you tell me how I get you money--Paypal?

There is a great Pontiac event in Great Bend Ks in 2 weeks ( Sept 18-19). It's app 1/2 way between your 2 locations. You could enjoy the races, car show and swap meet and make the exchange. I was also interested in the parts but money was a little to tight right now, The tech session on Friday night is always good.
