Anybody know the part number/group number for the little clip that is fastened above the side glass?
The glass slides up inside that clip, and it is supposed to keep the glass from blowing out when you're driving 90 mpg!

Are ya referring to the 78-80 GP ?

Yes, 78-80 GP, but I suspect it's on every two door G Body. I couldn't find it in my parts book. I did see it referred to as "the blow-out clip" in the Fisher Body book, but that's no guarantee that name carried over to the parts people, Thanks.

i think it's the same from 78-87 g/a bodies.

i think it's part of the channel that the seal rides in.

from memory it wasn't avaiable seperate from it.

i ended up getting used ones for my cars.

I beleive Mr.Nixon is right...it was part of it.But if I remember it was revited to channel. Could ya try to drill one out of a car and re-rivet.
I looked in all manuals and could not find it at all. Sorry.
I looked in my inventory and was thinking had something but no go.
