Default KRE d-port runner length?

Does anyone know the runner length of a KRE d-port intake port?

That is interesting. I have 5.16" for the"E" head (it was not measured by me). I am surprised there would be that must difference.

Are we measuring the center line from the center backside of the valve and not just the length of the floor, as in from the end of the valve seat to the flange?

If it helps High Performance Magazine stated the KRE d-port heads intake runner was made to resemble the 6X head, and stated it had the factory port volume of 180 cc's. But note this was pre-production information. Since then I've seen a different port volume mentioned. That said, it should in theory be about the same length of a 6X head if the information was correctly reported.

Steve,
I believe the number I have came from Larry Meaux. From my understanding Larry measures the top and the bottom and averages the 2.

The centerline. I would guess it is 4.7 to 5.
I measure from seat to flange on the floor then do the same on the roof then average them to get a centerline. It shouldn't be to far off from a d-port like Steve stated (probably a little longer)
