Finger guard bolt/nuts
My 66 Gto did not have the finger guard when I bought her. So now that I am putting her back together I don't have the right bolts/nuts. Do the bolts use regular nuts? None of the clip nuts fit in the square holes where the guard goes. I checked the shop manual and it has a poor diagram that looks like it takes regular nuts, but those square holes are a bit large for a regular nut. So if anyone has pics of the correct hardware I would appreciate it if you could post it. I have checked the catalogs too and don't see anything unique.

If your talking about the nuts that are in the core support, (or suppose to be there lol) they are cage nuts.
Ames sells them.

I couldn't find them on Ames site. Were these welded in from the factory?
