Default Flex plate shim.

Not sure if its been adressed before ( probably has ) but is the shim between the flex plate and the crank necessary? About to start assembly on my 535 and realized I dont have 1 for it.

Yes thank you. Sent you a PM with my address. I would rather have it there and not really need it than the other way around

From what I understand it had to do with shimming the Torque Convertor and flex plate distance, and also starter gear engagement to flex plate.

With the length of starter gears I can't imagine a 0.030-0.060 shim would be needed to adjust gears.

Have not used one in years, I wouldn't worry too much about it.
