I don't know about anyone else but it sure seems like there's a lot more private fireworks this year . Really loud around here.

Our local country club always does a big one, but their permit was pulled when our politicians banned the shows this year. So, we climbed a hill in the neighborhood and watched thousands (really) of private shows. It sounds like a war zone - it’s beautiful!

Last night's private fireworks were the most participted ny the neighbors, townships, and disbursed so well that;

I walked the dog to a high-point in the Valley and we saw the many small displays. Rather informative to the many good people we have, doing good things. I figure.

Dog been getting concerned about thunder, wind, fireworks. But now, My dog ain't scared of Fireworks (again).

The local community about 8 miles away canceled the event so people could not attend in numbers but went ahead and did the fireworks. You could see it for miles away and many went out and watched from parking lots.

Nice show, here was the ending in Leander Tx......

Our local officials made a point of telling everyone that private fireworks were allowed on private property this year. It was pretty cool, there was a lot of activity.

One thing that I'll say about the States. You guys really know fireworks. I remember driving down to Kentucky one time and pulling over along the way, to go into the massive fireworks store. That was a sight to behold. Of course we loaded up on firecrackers because you can't get them here. That was around 2004. I don't know that I would try that again.

It sounded like Fallujah here last night.

Good stuff!

We had 3 different fireworks shows each night, Friday night one neighbor had them, Saturday night another, and Sunday night another. Didn’t even have to leave our home. We’re in the country where when it’s dark...it’s dark out! It was beautiful! Only problem, they randomly sent up noise makers until 2am in the morning.

Stores here were actually encouraged to pull fireworks from the shelves due to possible fatalities and injuries to non professionals, since these now legal for anyone to purchase professional grade fireworks are no joke they can kill you. And grant it most will be shot off at backyard picnics by people half drunk.

No professional displays has opened things up for fireworks every night if people want to have them.
