I bet that’s what it is- Imron. I don’t know if you can do it anywhere now?

Isocyanate paints like Imron are still available for industrial application, We were still using Jet Glo (isocyanate) to paint aircraft in the mid 2000s

Probably one of those things that was going be thrown out and someone thought it was cool so took it home. Officially not allowed but kind of a 'who cares? ' deal. It IS kinda cool. I always wanted one of those see-through plastic model engines sold in the '60s and '70s.

Out the back door, in this instance, is just marketing hype. He's trying to make it sound like some clandestine racing program. In reality his 'paperwork' (a brochure) clearly shows every sales region had one, and they were donated to schools after.

Yes, and the price is really reasonable for what it is. Wish I had some extra dough and space in the garage.

Is that the correct side body stripe?
That is the design I always see used on the '68 Firebird Sprints.
I thought the V8 version had the HO stripe??

And the V8 Version with the H/O was used on 350 HO cars, not 400's. But I don't know if the strip was optional on all cars or not.

As far as I know, that stripe was optional (sans the HO letters that were in the version that came standard on 350 HO cars) on all models. But it seems rare to see them on 400 cars.
