All cars must have a catch can of 16oz. or greater capacity in order to catch any radiator coolant overflow, so as not to leak on track. Must be bolted or clamped to car in a permanent manner. For you Yacs with a blower or running nitro or alchol, you may route the overflow through the headers.Tip; NO, pop cans, beer cans or 2 litre bottles held in by bungee cords....Safety 1st...

Key words; "So as not to leak", on Uncle Wally's tracks. Don't worry it may not hurt you, but if it hurts the next racer down the 1/4 or 1/8 you could never show you face at the track again. Chinsey is chinsey. I can here em now ,,"Hey come look at my new oil can" it's legal. It never leaks till the finish line, anyway. Famous last words?

It ain't what you can get away with, it's about taking pride in your Pontiac and making it better than the other sub-quality manufactured cars out there today. With some of todays tech crews you can get anything by them, then when you go on the road, and spent your wadd, only to, not race, because they have tougher standards than the track you normally race...Safety 1st...PS Don't bring that street car mentality, into Drivetrain Race forum.

I use a factory windshield washer jar with a coolant recovery cap on it. Looks factory stock even though my car never came with one. They have never looked at it twice and it works great!
