they are reproduced now for about $190 set in stainless. Not sure of the quality as I haven't seen them in person yet:

I cannot help you with the retainers (channels) but I can with NOS weatherstrips and blow-out clips if you are in the need.

I believe 70 only. There is a possibility they carried over into early 71, but absolutely no late 71 on.

Then what did they use to retain the weatherstrip? The weatherstrip uses the same part number from 1970 to 1981.

I guess I should have said the 70 and maybe early 71 were made of stainless. 71 up were steel black on the outside and brown on the inside. I assume the sheet steel was coated before forming. 70-81 non t-top are the same other than the blowout clip location, style of the clip and stainless vs mild steel.

In the picture the blowout clip is located in the left circle like the pic, and 71-81 it’s located in the right circle. This also corresponds with the material change
