Default Correct Ralley Rims for a 69 disc brake vert

It’s my Dad’s car, trying to get the correct rims for it. June 5th/69 build with front discs.
The pics are from a seller who claims they were original on his 69. I’m stumped by the KT code and one looks to be a 72 rim?

Seller is either clueless, or he/she is all about selling you those wheels.

What date of build is the '69 Firebird 400?

KT coded 14x6 Rally II wheels were only optional on base '72 LeMans.
Once one clicked off the LeMans GT option or GTO option, the 14" Rally II wheels were properly dated 14x7 code KS. 15x7 rally II code KR were also avail optionally on '72 LeMans 2 doors (exc convertibles) & on '72 LeMans Coupes & Hardtops with the GTO pkg.

Build date is June 5th for the 69 Firebird 400.

Hard to tell about the seller, it was like pulling teeth trying to get blurry pics.

JC would be the 14x6 Rally II for 69 Firebird. On cars equipped with the 400 (and I believe the 4bbl Sprint 6) would get the JK coded 14x7 Rally II. JK are compatible with factory disc brakes.

Do you have a set of JK's lined up. I have a set on my 69 350 HO FDB convertible I'd be willing to let go. I replaced them a while ago with a restored set. PM me if interested.

JK's were the 14x7 rally II on early to mid production '69 400 Birds, Sprint Birds, & '69 GP's. Have never ran across a '69 dated JC 14x6 rally II & have had multiple dozens of JC coded rally II's.

Late in the "69 model year, believe mid June of '69, the 14x7 Rally II code JM began to appear. Would bet Telly & UncleJeff have a first date stamped of the JM's.

Was there a different code between mid year JK’s and the later JM’s?

those two codes were the only 14x7 RallyIIs used on '69 Birds & GPs.
Having had JMs dated in early June of '69, just not sure how much earlier they were stamped.

All Firebirds except 1 bbl OHC models (which had 14x6") had 14x7" rims. The only way you'd see JC (14x6") RII's on a 69 Firebird was if it was a base engine OHC ordered with rally wheels.
