It's like my dad saying he has the fastest tri-power might be true but doesnt really amount to much when no one else has put effort into beating him.
"Easier and more reliable ways of doing it" ? Really ? How would you know ? Its not you did not try, you did. Still came up short. You had the high dollar billet pistons, 1500$ ring set, billet crank, big bad High Ports, Cubic carb, 50mm cam. And every intake known to mankind. Barton on speed dial with a blank check in your hand.
Mikes gone and some people find it easy to take back handed swipes at the guy since he is not around to defend himself.
What do you think would happen to you if he read that ? You would have crawled back into you corner after he was done with you.

Mike and I were friends, call/text often. Pitted next to him every year at Norwalk.
You've got no idea what you're talking about.

Don't think you will ever see them -- they have been at least 5 to 6 years in the making -- lack of availability is one reason I gave up on them.

The Tiger2 is basically a proport casting. Can do pretty much what ever you'd like with it

hmmm I was told it was to have different valve location/spacing and other " improvements" that people had found to be productive over the years -- just what I was told.

One change to the Tiger 2 is improved water circulation around the center exhaust ports.

They do in a finished version or you can just get a cubed chunk of aluminum and do what ever you want to them.

They did off of my old heads and that is what you can get. I don’t think anyone would want to do what we did to my current heads. Billet would have been cheaper but not legal in the class I run.

Anyone can call Visner and get a set of heads that flow over 500 CFM.

Well , not exactly ...but the BES port program is one option . Tony and crew are doing 6 pairs ??? of standard exhaust flange location heads for AP .

A couple of other pairs that were simply "cubed" with no guide or seat locations
machined have been sent there as well for you and maybe one other customer ??

The others were fully machined to finished heads (my port designs) and ported up in Maryland , but I don't think any remain available ??
I'm doing intakes for them and possibly the ones from BES as well . that's all I really know about it . There are vary few pairs of existing castings .

Frank called me last night to discuss a couple of details . John
