That's super cool!
I can't recall when I last saw a picture of an early deluxe interior car woth no console - and the correct no-console shifter to boot!!!

Awesome car and well deserved award! I would guess the custom interior no console 4 speed is less common than the same with console... Nice!

I'm glad I was able to attend this year's Uprising.
Your '71 looked great, Mike! As did Craig's '70 and Jeff's Judge. |

Congrats Mike! Nicely done. Looks like it was a great show. Wish you could make it to the TA Nats and bring that car; I’d love to see it in person. We’ll miss seeing you there, but hey...more Sweet Apple Pie for me!

Thanks again guys! I feel it's worth it just driving it around. Solid feel, strong engine, and reliable.
Hope to get the AC working for a ride to Dayton next year! I heard of a local guy that works on these old GM systems, and look forward to getting it charged up and see if it can blow some cold air.

Mike,
Very nice job on the car, (and you got it done pretty quickly). Interesting to see the difference in ride height compared to Norwood's 70, which IIRC has the stock front springs and aftermarket rear springs. Your 71 sits exactly like my 71. Perfect rake, but just a tad high (for my liking), although I probably won't bother with lowering mine. I always liked the no console floor shift look, it's a very clean look. Black out the lower part of the front bumper.... |

Thanks Chris, My ride height matches my Formula pretty much. Which I think sits nice and yes compared to Craig's it's higher.
But, my wife uses it to get groceries anyways... Thanks Doug, No Natz this year but next is in play! AC should be active then.
