Scott Tiemann
Let me start by saying I've never met Scott. Never even spoke to him on the phone until this week. I called him because someone on this Forum said he had the exact slate grey/blue one year only paint color for my 1964 Tempest Custom gauge pod(same paint as used on a GTO). Long story short, very nice gentleman. Sent me the paint in aerosol bombs ( I don't have spray equipment) and said "I'll send the bill later". That's right, the honor system! I can only say this is a good man and a real asset to our hobby!
Thanks Scott, Tony |

I've known Scott since the 80's, met him at a GTOAA meet where he was drag racing his parent's 65. He was just a kid back then before starting his resto business. Now if we happen to be somewhere together at the same time he always seeks me out just to say hello and chat for a couple of minutes. Agreed, he is a real asset to our hobby.

Scott and his guys are great people, true artists/craftsmen, and passionate about restoring cars!! I'd trust them 100% with restoring my cars any day.
I asked Scott if he'd be willing try and restore both of my badly damaged but original 69 TA rear wings. He said he'd give it a shot and gave me a quote. A short time later, I got them back they were both perfect and I mean PERFECT!! To top it off, the bill was a fraction of the quote. Very pleased!! Rob

I don't know Mr. Tieman either, but it is nice to see there are still some trusting individuals out there.

He did the same for me a couple of years ago. Then, after he had his paint store ship the paint, UPS lost it. According to their tracking system the paint made it as for as Sacramento CA, then disappeared. When it didn't show at my place I inquired to UPS and they would not discuss it with me, they said the sender had to file the claim. I felt bad about having to bother Scott, but I had no choice. He had his paint people immediately send me a new shipment of paint and said he would have his paint supplier deal with UPS. All this for $75.00 with of paint. Very nice of him.
