Default Trunk hinge piece fell out

I heard a rattling in my trunk, so I open it to see this piece laying on the DS inner wheelhouse at the trunk hinge bracket. In looking at the other side, it appears to be held in with a long fastener that's been staked in. Like a long rivet. Anybody ever have to make this repair? I can't even see if access to the hole it goes in comes around with the swing of the hinge.

Default WOW

That portion of the hinge is held in with a rivet type pin.
You might be able to use a size-matched grade bolt as a temporary fix.

I've had torque rods snap, but never a pin.

Thanks, Jeff. It looks like I'll have some fanaggling to do. All of the weight is on the one rod and I don't want to break that. I'm thinking that a sleeve with a bolt through it would be best if I can make that happen. Anyways, big pain in the butt.
