I did find a few places that claim they have them rebuilt:

I pulled my brake booster out today (1st pic) and compared to the later model spare unit I have.
I'm going to machine up an adapter plate to get me back up & running by Monday.
Season has started and I'm not letting it sit & wait 4-5 weeks.
That way I'm not drilling up the car and I can reinstall the original set up at my convenience.
I have quite the list of things to accomplish this year not accounting for the car to be down:
Repair rear window frame and replace glass with factory tinted.
Front glass pull & repair frame to end any water leaks
POR-15 inside & out
New: carpet, interior door & rear panels, headliner
Install modified P4BQJ Alum intake with exhaust crossover removed RAIV/455HO style
Build Qjet....I have a dual snorkel base I can use.
Curve Dist & set up for Pertronix III module & coil

Just a thought. I worked in an Auto Parts store, from 1985-1998. We had good relations with parts suppliers back then. May not be the same now (many of the big name chains get additional discounts on a particular product line by giving up manufacturer representation...). We send in many kinds of parts for "Reman". Brake boosters, master cylinders, calipers. Most were done through A-1 Cardone. I'm not sure what connections you have through parts stores...you could ask around.

The problem these days is lines of communications to re-man folks may not be there, at least easily. It's all about price. Sadly many parts counter folks have such limited experience it's tough to communicate with them...

Agreed,
That's why I'm installing what I have on hand which falls inline with the cars theme for time being.
"keep it running with my spare Pontiac parts "
It buys me time to sort what should have been a simple common replacement.

With that here's the rear window dilemma:
Apparently at one point this car was painted and looks like there was some water in the paint gun line:
I'm not looking to restore, rather preserve & stop from getting worse..

Thinking pull the glass, media blast, maybe some POR-15 filler/ epoxy polymer cause I know regular body filler will draw water. Then paint the window channel & panel.

You see the damage, I'm open to ideas in this matter?

Jeff,
I think your plan is sound. "A" bodies have problems here, also.
A fellow car enthusiast of mine and I sand blasted the roof of my brothers 89 pickup, had rust coming through, made a big difference. The shop he worked at blasted ALL rusted areas when doing repairs.
Making any progress???
Jeff

Hey Jeff,
Been buried in carb work and tuning up boats!...well real boats...watercraft...lol
The GP has entered the relm of test mule as I finally finished and installed my P4BQJ and got a wideband sensor bung in the exhaust to live test & tune stock customers carbs.
I use my T/A for apps similar to that combo as well...here's some pics
GP runs a lot smoother as well as cooler with crossover gone from intake.
This intake makes the car tool down the road effortlessly ... exhaust note is deeper too

Cruzin SNH with the Z man

Also, the vintage fat runner Edelbrock P4B-QJ that I removed the exhaust crossover like RAIV/HO was a definite step up on performance over the stock cast iron AFB pattern intake.

Car runs much smoother and carry's the weight (4,140 lbs) of the car especially @ highway speeds effortlessly.
It never ran like that before! I'm impressed!

Ha! Reminds me of a line from a Van Halen song. “Have you seen Juniors grades?” LOL!

What an awesome ride, with an awesome story.
I really like the wheel and tire combo. I have a 67 more door hardtop that I'm thinking of going for that look too.
