2 bbl manifold
Back in the seventies Edelbrock offered StreetMaster single 2 bbl manifolds for Chev and Ford. Anybody know if they ever offered it for Pontiac?

The catalog I have has no single 2 bbl Manifolds in it at all ( not that they could not have come out with them later for Chevys) and I can't believe there would have been a market for such in terms of Pontiacs that Edelbrock woukd have catered to!

Probably made for tracks with classes that require 2bbl intakes?

Find a 1982, maybe other, catalog.
The two barrel manifolds listed were for Chevrolet small block, Chrysler 318, Ford 289/302, Ford 351W, and were listed as "category 1". No two barrel manifolds listed for Olds or Pontiac. The "streetmaster" intakes were all four barrel in this catalog, and were listed as "category 2". The two barrel Chevy small block was number 5201 (non-EGR) or 5101 (EGR) Jon

Remember what was going on in the late 70's and early 80's...Folks were looking for better MPG in their older cars. Thes intakes had no intended racing use, just for gas mileage....
I vaguely remember the 2 Bbl intakes. I have seen a couple of 4 bbl street master SBC intakes at swap meets, in last few years. I have a SP2P Pontiac intake, bought from a member here, a few years ago. Was wanting to try it on the 350, currently in my TA, just for giggles...

I'll need to dig up the ad I saw. I may have misspoken, the StreetMaster may have been a 4-bbl. I think it came out in 1974. It was intended to maximize low end torque, with small cross-section runners and anti-reversion ribbing at the ports.

I recall the 2bbl ones that Holley made.
I used one some 20 years ago that I modified to take a 4 bbl for I guys 364 cid SBC motor that was going in a heavy under geared car. These Holleys where of the single plane type and with the extra long runners from starting off as being for a 2bbl set up. As I recall with its trickflow heads that little bugger on the dyno with less then a 700 cfm Carb made 425 hp and a whapping 470 ft lbs of Torque.

As far as I know the street master intakes were 4 Bbl. Having seen some at swap meets (obviously NOT at any swap meets, THIS year...) The runners were small, a single plane. The plenum was different. A guy I worked with had one of these intakes on a 75 Camaro.
The 2 Bbl intakes were SP2P's, made similar to the 4 Bbl SP2P's
