I am still hopeful. Depends on whether I can get the T/A cleaned up and ready for the long trip from Augusta, the weather forecast, and some other stuff that I have going on.

Looks like its not happening for me this year. I found the rear wheel cylinders were sucking air and replaced them with good ones. Then got the car all cleaned up and ready. But now it looks like other obligations are going to get in the way.

Sorry to hear that Walt. Would love to see that Blue over Red '74.
I plan to attend but I may leave the Goat at home. Didn't have time to detail it and frankly not excited about driving it 60 miles through Atlanta traffic in possibly an afternoon squall. I don't expect a washout but I think it's about 50% right now.

I'm out this year also. My car is still in the shop, plus my Grandson is visiting tomorrow. Priorities.

Had a good time at the show today. Good weather, sunny with some overcast.

Talked to several PY members and many others at the show. Good to see fellow Pontiac enthusiasts that I haven't seen in a while.

Swap meet was small but had some good parts if you were looking.

Many nice cars at the show.

Good to see you Preston. Never did see Russ or Kyle...or anyone else I knew actually. The location was not bad, not as nice as the Marriott but not bad. Participation was kind of weak compared to most years though. Only saw 4 '68-'69 Pontiac A-bodies for instance. The threat of thunderstorms probably didn't help either.

Preston, did you happen to get a pic of the red '69 GTO? I thought it was a nice car that I'd never seen before. Whitewall tires with Rally IIs, parchment interior. It may have had a black vinyl top. Wish I'd taken a picture of it now because I can't remember.

That belongs to John Link the president of the GTO club. He has been a Buick guy until now.
I think he has only had it a few weeks. I didn' ask where he got it ? It originally had a white painted top.

Sure glad he painted the top. And to me it would look a lot better without the whitewall tires. Still a good looking car by the pics.

I kinda liked the whitewalls for a change at first glance...but the more I look at it, that car is begging for redlines.

I was there in the Catalina in the project car class. They parked me back near the woods. The plus side it was shaded the whole show.

I saw you walking in that direction Russ and never saw you again. I did not even notice that car there.
I kinda got corralled by Chad...can't think of his last name....but he needed someone to fill out his judging sheet. By the time we finished that, I only had time to make a quick run through the swap area and beat it back to the "po' side of town".
