Default 1975 Trans Am 400/462 MT Red on Red

1975 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am
$32,500 obo
Car is located in Ojai, CA (93023)

Numbers matching, resto mod/pro-touring Trans Am. 3,000 miles since complete engine rebuild by Kauffman (480 HP / 540 TQ), new ridetech suspension and Wilwood brakes, and new American Powertrain 5 speed manual transmission (still have the original Super T10)

A/C, sound insulation, and a 5-speed for cruising, and coilovers and 4 wheel disc brakes for canyon carving and autocross.

17" Rally II replica wheels, hidden bluetooth stereo, stock interior and dash, and motor painted in the original color to keep everything looking relatively stock.

Mechanically it's a 9.5/10. I would say the body is a 7/10 (some stone chips, some of the fits aren't perfect). No rust or body issues.

Partial build list:

Kauffman rebuilt numbers matching motor (stroked to 462, zero decked and balanced)
Kauffman D-Port heads
TKO 600 5 Speed Manual transmission from American Powertrain
Science Friction Clutch and pressure plate
New wiring harness
Retrosound Bluetooth Head Unit
Sound insulation in floors and doors
Custom Stereo (Focal)
Vintage Air air conditioning
Griffin 4 row Aluminum Radiator
MSD 6A Digital Ignition
Holley EFI
Pro-Touring F-Body 800 steering box
ridetech stage 2 coil overs, with new upper and lower control arms
Ridetech front sway bar
Wilwood 4 wheel disc
17" Year One Rally II Wheels 17 x 9
Falken RT615K 275/40 R17 tires
Refurbished Dash Bezel by Randy Combs
Rebuilt 10 bolt rear
New Upper and Lower door pads
New Fuel Lines
New Brake Lines
Global West Frame Connectors

Comes with the original Rally II wheels, Quadrajet, Super T-10 transmission, and original 5c heads if you ever wanted to put it back to stock.

I'll even throw in the Kiss Destroyer 8-track.

Good luck with the sale. This car is perfect in my opinion. This is what I would like to do on a 74 build. So nice!

I left the 3:08s in when we rebuilt the rear. Personally, I like where the revs sits when cruising at 70mph, and the engine has boatloads of torque.

Here are the gear ratios in the TKO:
2.87, 1.89, 1.28, 1:1, .64

Proably a good move.I went with 3.73 and even though at 60MPH I am a hair under 2000 rpm I am debating going back to 3.23 because first gear is pretty useless on the street with the multiplication with a TKO first gear.I USUALLY START OUT IN SECOND MOST TIMES.
