Mike,
Will show all the "goodies" once they are machined.
So far this is looking well worth the effort.

Yes,
In process of other mods and machining some replacement of broken off parts.
Moving onto some live test before season is over.
Going to do some recoloring & plating after season ends.

Sorry for letting this go so long without posting but much progress was made.
Looking back here's when I fitted the boosters & removed excess in venturi
Still considering machining the primary throttlebores in baseplate.
I'll post some pics today

I KNOW YOU HAVE BEEN REALLY BUSY WITH YOUR REGULAR JOB BUT THE MODS ON THE Q-JET ARE LOOKING GREAT!!!!!

Keep up the research on your mods and HAVE FUN! That is what it is all about.

Tom Vaught

I built a one off 3-BARREL mechanical secondary double pumper carb for Marty Palbykin one time.
(before he went down the Boosted path).
A PY member texted me and told me he now has that special Holley carb.
I had a lot of fun making that carb. Mr Bill Klausing was involved in that project .

Thanks,
When I decide to retire or pull a bit from my career I will be doing more Hot Rods, engine & carb mods.

Right now I have two other booster designs to test in the Qjet primary in near future.

I've had some modified Brad Urban Qjets in the past and it was interesting to see where he placed his emphasis on in those early days.
Mostly WOT I would say.

Brad Urban enlarged the primary bores on the Q jet I sent him years ago. 73 SD SR carb. Also I think put secondary jets in place of the SS sleeves.

You recall how big he made the primaries Skip?
I machined this one 1-7/16 to maintain some wall thickness.
