I like the color of your car. Is that a factory color?

Here is my basket case (see avatar). Pulled it out of a barn last spring, last licensed in '77.

'67 Lemans, 326 HO, 4 speed Muncie, posi, buckets, console, and to top it off, it is all there except the shifter knob! PHS numbers say less than 2100 built with a manual trans. Waiting for funds to begin restoration, will need a frame due to rotted out torque boxes, trunk floor is gone, rest of the floor pans are in great shape. Motor is seized too, but I have a 400 to put in it for a while.

Anybody have an extra frame laying around?

When I was about 15-16 yrs old, my dad bought a '67 lemans hdtp parts car (he bought it from the original owner.)...326 HO, Muncie 4speed, 3.55 posi, bench seat, rubber mat (no carpet). It was black with a blue interior. I wanted to restore it, but I didn't realize how bad it was rotted until we started taking it apart. The frame, floor, trunk floor, & rockers were junk. I was just a young lad & didn't know any better. I always thought it was kinda rare. Up until this past August, he still had the title/tags for this car. Unfortunately it was all lost in a house fire on August 9th.

I regret many of the cars I let go too. If space and dollars had allowed, I would have a pretty large collection.

Now that I have the space to keep one, I'll work on it as dollars allow. My 8 year old daughter is excited about helping me work on the car.

That's one sweet looking Sprint John. Reminds me of my 66 Tempest..... 326 2 speed.

You know, just about everyone rants on the Chevies from back then. But you know what, the 64 to 67 Pontiac A bodies were some of the sweetest lookin cars on the road..... period. And still are today. At least you knew what the other guy was driving. LOL

Performer,

What kind of headers are those. I love the skinny and fat tire look.
