Default pontiac bell housing identification

hey guys my fist post. i have 2 bellhousings that i cant identify. they are 9770094 and 543777. any help would be appreciated.

I don't have anything on those numbers?
Can you post pics of them and of the part number?


9770094 maybe a 9770091? (1963 Bellhousing)

thanks for the info but it is 9770094 so i will keep searching. Thanks mike

If they are aluminim, only have a starter mount on the drivers side, & have a large oval shaped area that is open on the bottom side of the bellhousing, both are 1963 Tempest bellhousings. The large oval area is where the torque tube housing attaches to the bellhousing

The only other 54xxxx casting number aluminum bellhousing I know of is the 547975. It's near identical to the dual starter pocket 9785581 '65-70's Pontiac V8 (& Buick & Olds V8) bellhousing. Have personally removed 547975 casting bellhousings out of original late production '72 & 73 model Pontiac A & F-body's. Have not disassembled enough original 74's with manual transmissions to see if the trend continued.
