Default Ash Tray Light

I'm getting close to finishing my dash wiring. have 2 items left. a lamp holder on a single red wire with a small hole for light to emit. I think this clips in above ash tray. The other is a similar device on a white single wire with no hole, not sure on this one. maybe it is a mercury switch to turn on ash tray light? can't see anywhere to mount it. Thanks for any help

Without more research it may be for the lighter.

If you have portions of the lamp group, such as the ashtray light than you would have the cigarette light as well.

Jeff Hamlin will know.

Chris.

67 Here, one is for cigarette lighter, other is for ashtray.
Red wire to cigarette lighter, white wire for ash tray (look carefully, lamp holder with white wire has small hole in picture).

One is for the ash tray and one is for the lighter. If you look closely, you will see that one has a small hole and the other has a tiny hole. You should be able to pull the shroud off of both to expose the tiny bulbs. The one with the small hole clips into a spot in the ash tray bracket and the one with the tiny hole clips to the lighter housing.

Maybe a standard on GTO's but not on Tempest's,
