Default 1968 Catalina Conv Split Bench Seat Cover Available? Parisienne similar?

Looking to replace the front seat cover on my friends Conv. I dont see them
listed. They offer Parisienne, I know the pleats look different in the catalog..
Thoughts, ideas. The car is a nice driver... Thanks Chris

parisienne is offered because it's the same as impala. I had redone a set of 69 Catalina seats by hand since there were no heat pleats, just stitching.

What color are his seats? Bear in mind that the chevy-parisienne pattern and colors may be different. Might be better to order the 67 Catalina seat which is available.

I am looking for red. I assume all the split benches are the same size of that era?

A good trim shop can order correct material and use your old seat covers as a pattern.

I'm in a similar predicament with my 69 Cat convertible. I called Ames about the 69 Parisienne seat covers and door panels but they said they aren't exact matches fitwise. I don't care about correct pleats I just want some prefabbed seat covers and door panels. I can't find any elsewhere and not wanting to spend thousands on a driver interior. Any suggestions?

Go online to one of those sites that has factory sales brochures scanned and look at what the seat and door panels look like on 67-68 Chevy Impala and biscaynes in those years and pick the one that looks closest to your car or the one you prefer and order them. Canadian Pontiac models in those years used Chevy interiors with the exception of the dashboard which was Pontiac.

The shape of the two door bench seat is basically the same on all the lower level (no armrest) 65-70 full sized GM cars. As for door panels any lower level (flat rather than molded shape) 67-68 2 door full-size GM will fit. The only issue to watch is some of those cars used a longer armrest (like the Impala-parisienne) so the mounting holes may show if you reuse the shorter armrest bases from the Catalina.
