When you recharged it, did you replace the drier, orifice tube and pull a vacuum on it first?

Air not being cold could be a clogged orifice tube (happened to me twice on two separate vehicles). Air not moving at all is either the fan or the ductwork.

fan seems to be working but something is restricting it from full blowing the air ,and all the duckwork is in place .
which one is the orifice tube

Does the fan actually change speed? The resistors can go bad and you have just one blower speed.

Can you hear the door opening/closing when you go from defrost to Max? sometimes the vacuum lines come off or on my 81 the little plastic piece attaching the cable to the door had broken luckily I found one in a wrecking yard back then.

The flap in the cowl kind of hangs open most of the time, might shut when oin max. There is a door in the box under the dash that does most of the directing. I have had to replace the resistor before.
