Default WTB Temperature Sending Unit

Hi , I'm looking for a temperature sending unit for a 66-67 Tempest OHC with rally gauges Here is the info on it that I have:
GM part # 6402323 (engine water therm transducer)
Group# 1.150
ACDELCO# G-1855
It is different than V8s because it has a 3/8" pipe thread where a V8 has a 1/2" pipe thread . I would prefer a new one but a good used one will do . Any help woud be greatly appreciated . Thanks Don

Jeff , I've done some more research on this . I'm looking at a Standard Motor Products TS76 . It is 3/8" thread, set up for gauges, has the proper spade terminal,it's brass and is readily available . The best I can tell it's calibrated for 100-270 degrees . What do you think ? Is it a possibility ? Don

Thumbs up

Don, I think that would be worth a try.
The Classic Instruments sender could as well, I just would use it if no other could be secured.

Agree the EPAY offerings are way overpriced, but these are VHTF so sellers are shooting high.

Hi Ed and Jeff . Thanks for your help and suggestions . I still have some time to find one . If I can't find a reasonably priced NOS one I can always try an after market piece . I have until at least August till I get the car out of the body shop . I also plan on going to Spring Carlisle and Norwalk (if they if they can pull them off ). Have a GREAT day . Don
