Designer #1: "We got flat paint, more scoops than a Baskin Robbins, flares and a cow-catcher on the front Casey Jones would love ... I don't think it's too over the top do you?"
Designer #2: "Over the top!?! ... out of the mouth of babes in backwards ballcaps! Let's chop and section it so low everything is over the top!" Designer #1: "Um, yeah!"

I’m surprised that they showed restraint chopping the top. I’m not a fan of big chops, but don’t mind that as much. Those side scoops should go back to the ‘80’s where they belong. Besides that and the chaulkboard looking paint, I don’t dislike it as much as I thought I would.

Young mans car.
The look is awesome , but probably a 'pain ' to drive . . . and to get in and out of.

Overall it looks fine, and it better handle well for the look it has.
Not a fan of super-low ride and tire. |

This is along the lines of a Ring Brothers build and being a fan of their work, as well as getting to know Mike and Jim Ring, I think this GTO is an interesting build.

I like it. It’s not easy to chop the top 3” and section the body 4 1/2” and keep everything looking correct. The scoops look OK to me. I’ve seen enough stock looking ‘69 GTOs to appreciate something a little different.
Sonny’s motor though? Nah.....

I like it!
It's nice seeing something different. If everyone built/restored these cars all the same way, it would be one boring hobby.

Wow that is hideous.The main reason I've kept my car for 49 years is so somebody with a backwards ball cap and ZZ top facial hair wouldn't wrap it around a tree or do their idea of a mod rod with the car.

Pardon my amateur airbrushing, but how hard was that to clean up the mess they made? Unfortunately, it bears a striking resemblance to a 1971 Mustang Mach 1.
