ok at the bottom of your post screen you'll see on the left it says "smiles are on"
click on the word smiles, a menu will pop up.
i guess you have to type a code, depending on what smile you want.
the popup menu will tell you the codes.

I save them in photobucket then post the image link into the reply box when I want to post one.

Or if you see them online somewhere else, just right click and choose properties. Copy the URL and paste it in the image section above.

I use Photo Bucket for cool smilies or images. you don't even have to join just put what you want in the search, the pics or smilies will come up. There will be a IMG code. click on it and it will copy that image. Then paste it right to your post.

I think something recently changed around the same time that the "thanks" feature was turned off, becasue I can't see the option to see the list anymore...

I am left to guess at the smilies...

help!?

I'm not sure why, but your account got switched to use the basic post editor. I just switched you back to the standard post editor. That should bring back the smilies list for you.

If anyone else wants to change the editor they are using, you can choose your editor in your UserCP. There is a basic editor, a standard editor (recommended) and an enhanced editor you can choose from. Here's a direct link to the options page in your UserCP, the editor option is down at the bottom of the page:
