Default Roadkill Nights @ Yak

I think I’m going to this up in the Yak.

I had never heard that before, either.

But - anyone who calls their association "Sick - the mag" is bound to use some slang, I suppose.

"Sick Week" is one of those drag & drive things, where they will go 1000 miles over a week and visit several tracks. You have to make minimum one pass at each track, and you have to hit the checkpoints between tracks so they can verify you are driving it. Everybody stays in the same host hotel.

They made an appearance last month at the NMCA event in Martin Michigan (US131 Dragway) for some exhibition passes, and a brief cruise (like 30 miles into town and back).

The Divco below goes 10.40's in the quarter, with a twin turbo Chevy big block.

Local engine builder Steve Morris won the Florida event in this Toadmaster wagon (the Martin event, too). This thing goes 6.60's at over 200 mph in the quarter.

It also eats TH400 transmissions like candy. He went through 5 of them during the course of the Florida/Georgia trip.

My son and some of his friends are planning on going there, and to the Woodward cruise.

What will you be driving?

I'm usually out each evening starting early in the week, in the GP.

No that’s local slang Lol. Ponti-yak

Keith, or anyone here, usually we’d night before Cruze were at Nickey D’s Coney, the place they shot that GTO pic with wangers , were there. Anyone stop in. As long as yiu get food there, yiu can park there.
Got this shirt a year ago, the guy was getting thrown out of the gas station as I bought it, lol. It was at the loop,in the Yak. Usually there’s a guy selling BBQ at the gas station, it’s excellent.

I am not going to make it this year, however he is driving his AWD Plymouth Laser , and his one friend has a supercharged Mustang. They both live in Pontiac still, and both work at Ford in Allen Park. He was sending me pictures from a carshow at Culvers tonite.
