LOL I hope you didn't join in 1970...that's when I was born.

22 years as a PY member. Started out on Classical Pontiac and joined here a few years later. Could never have done the things I have without the knowledge here.

I remember when you joined! Just kidding. I don't remember what I had for supper last night! I had to look up my profile to see that I joined on 10/12/2003. I haven't received any of my year pins from PY!

It's almost 22 years as a member for me. Bought my GTO 32 years ago when it was much harder to find parts (before most people even knew what the internet was) - you had to do it the old fashioned way - either go to numerous swap meets or word of mouth for links to parts.

I remember talking to a GTO club member in 1993 who gave me a name and phone number of a guy out in Maryland that actually had '64 GTO consoles for sale. He told me the guy was a straight shooter, so sight unseen I purchased it. It was just as he described!

Today, I could have multiple closeup pictures emailed on demand and then get sent a totally different console by a scammer....

Signed in the first time in 2004; had to set up a new account in 2006 because I had changed ISP as well as location.
