Default lost 1980 pace car trans-am title

just bought a 1980 pace car trans-am that came from swiss and the guy that import it in france is died.
his brother sell all of his car but did not find all the papers and the trans-am title is lost.

so where can i found the USA title ?

it's my only chance to make this car running on open road.

the only information i have is the VIN :2X87TAN131868

Do you know what State in the US it was last registered in? Look for any old registrations inside the car or safety/emission stickers on the windshield for any clues that may tell where it came from. You can then have someone do a search at a DMV office from that state to see who it was registered to last for a starting point.

Sometime also receipts for oil change/filter or parts can be helpful with locating the place it came from. If no receipts look for service stickers on the door posts...

Default 1980 turbo pace car

You can pull all the seat's to see if any local gas,food ect,sale slips.
