Question electronic ignition

My GTO came from the factory with the electronic ignition which was taken off the car sometime in the past.

Does anyonehave an idea how to replace it?

Thank You.

I assume you are talking like 64 65 GTO? If so pay somebody on ebay big bucks for 40+ year old parts that may or may not work and then install and hope it works.

I am in the process of doing just that on my 66 GTO. The previous respondant is correct. Big bucks, however if you have a nice original car and want to make it authentic to the build sheet, it may be worth it. I gathered up all the parts (bought a new coil), and had it restored by a guy who specializes in TI restorations for Corvettes (he learned his trade on GTO TI). The only part I am missing is the 4x5 sheet metal box in front of the LF wheel on the back of the radiator support.(looks similar to a voltage regulator cap) Email if you need more info.
