David... sounds wild!! how wide is that bridge/road? doesnt sound like a lot of room for error....I put off-road racing lights on my 4 headlight system on my 78 for late night running..only problem was it lit up the sides so much you could see animals waiting to dart across..

David... sounds wild!! how wide is that bridge/road? even if it was three lanes it doesnt sound like you have much room for error...how many cars a year lose it running top-end on that thing? On the top-end races they seem to average 1 fatality every two years or so..one guy endoed a 959 Porsche at 210..didnt find much of him or the car..

Kahuna, You have a very nice TA!

There are two bridges, the Howard Franklin and Gandy. Gandy is where most run Late at night. There are only two lanes, but there are emergency lanes on both sides making it 4 lanes kinda. It's dead flat, straight and concrete so it's as safe as any normal road can be.

Mostly it's kids in imports that wreck out there, and they do it every weekend. Most only run to 125 or so. I'm sure you know how well a 95 Turbo Supra runs on top end, with a bigger turbo and and headwork, So my friend had to really work.
Two weeks before, we were at the real track and he broke his 3.73's, and the 2.73 were all he had until his 12 bolt arrives.

Well, it's time to head up to Tampa and have the imports "Throw rev's" at me...
