This is a tough one. I would go further back and order a late 61 Ventura and get the dealer installed Super Duty 421 and all the other SD stuff. Black with maroon tri-tone interior. 8 lugs, 4 speed.
#2 would be a 65 GTO, 3x2, 4.33 gears, 4 speed, radio and heater delete, poverty caps, sound deadner delete, Bobcatted, Black or white w/ red interior. and Ram air pan in trunk.

I got the dream car of my youth.

When I was 16, the 1973 Trans Ams were hitting the showrooms. I fell in love with a Bucanneer Red 73 SD455 sitting in the Pontiac dealer's showroom. It was an automatic car with black/white interior and red carpet and a/c. I did my best to talk my dad into buying that car for me, but to no avail. I would have preferred a 4-spd, but 4-spd wasn't available with a/c, so that ruled that out. Living in the south, a/c was a must have option.

I was in search of a 73 SD455 in the mid-80s, and found the same exact car. I ended up buying it in 1988.

I would order the best looking car ever made. A 1967 Regimental Red, Parchment interior, HO 4spd GTO. I'd add a hood tack and Hurst wheels this time around however.

I would order a 1970 Formula 400 with a ram air IV and a 4 speed. I've read that this combo could have been ordered but never was, so it would be one of one.

Arriving back in March 1 1968.....Staying until June 7th 1968

Royal Pontiac, Royal Oak, Michigan

I would order a triple black 1968 Firebird Ram Air Convertible.
(making sure the dealer was aware of the upcoming, May release
Ram Air II version). Automatic, 4.33. Loaded w/options. Add the 'Bobcat'
pkg (to the RAII engine). Would also arrange to go to Lordstown, OH and
watch this car being built (being sure to take along my pocket-sized digital camera that I brought along in the Time Machine). Document every step of
the build process from Fisher Body to Final Assembly.

Would also order every imaginable spare part for the car along with....

7028277 Carb's (Ram Air I)... rarer than hen's teeth these days
(took me 10yrs to find one)

(1) Triple Black '71 Hemi Cuda Convertible

"Judge" Glovebox emblems, Hurst Wheels in original metal drums

Ram Air pkg. for '65-'68 GTO's & Firebirds

'64 GTO Custom Sport Steering Wheels

IBM stock, (1) case of 1967 Topps Baseball High Number series,
a complete roll of $20 US Gold pieces, Several Camaro & Vette 'Teak'wood
steering wheels, ZL-1 Engine, Tailight Bezels for '64, '65, '69 GTOs, unopened
packages of all newly released Hotwheels including a white '68 Camaro.

Also leave specific instructions to certain key military people that a certain
Osama Bin Laden must be eliminated ASAP.

Advise security for Robert Kennedy to be especially careful on June 6th.

Introduce myself to Bill Gates and remind him to give me a call when he finalizes his plans for his new computer company. Give him $100,000 as my investment into this new (yet to be named) company.

Finally, I would purchase property and build an underground storage building somewhere that I knew in advance would still be there in 2006 (untouched). Here, I would store all above items, temperature controlled & very secure. Upon my arrival back in 2006, I would have Geraldo Rivera do a 20/20 special at the grand opening of this 'Vault'.

10,000 shares of Microsoft stock when it first came out. That way I could buy one of every car.

My father actually did get my "If I could go back" car used in 1971

-1967 Firebird 400, 4 spd, posi, factory traction bars, manual steering and brakes, blue with black interior, bench seat w/armrest.

I remember being a kid and taking the car out of storage a couple times a summer, smokin the tires into 3rd gear, thrown back in the seat... this cemented my love of Pontiacs. (Also riding in our 1973 Formula 400)

P.S. we still have both cars. The '67 is a 27,000 mile unrestored original
