Want to go landspeed racing?
I'm planning to run at the Loring Maine Harvest Event next week but dont have a crew. I'll leave Tuesday 8/29/23. I'd like to find someone living between here (central NY) and the southern end of Maine, to help me drive it in one day (800 miles). Duties are fairly simple- buckle me into the lakester, tow it around, etc. I'll cover expenses- a room at the Bunker Inn, meals, etc.

Way too short notice for me! My transport business is booked 4-6 weeks in advance all year round! If you would have let my truck & trailer lay in your yard while we were gone, I would have done it in a heartbeat! As of now I will be in either South Dakota or Iowa on the 29th God Bless Bill https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/...closed.614419/

A little more flexibility in where a crew member might join me-
instead of driving east, then north on I95, I may go I81 north to Canada, then 401 to near Loring.

I got me a crew... Hurrah!
We've been friends since living just a mile apart when I was in kindergarten- 1945.
