Default "68" GTO Judge at Kruse Auction

Spotted at the Kruse Auction this weekend. Anybody familiar with this car (has it been discussed here before?)?

Thought there was a magazine-like article//discussion long time ago (like 30 years) that tried to leave the reader to believe PMD had made a mock-up of the 69 Judge on a 68 GTO. Thus making the "car" exist.

I believe there was a companion article that showed the 68 Firebird with the funky-fancy air scoops & White with Blue Stripe, and it was some sort of HO-Sprint. Thus the Pre-Trans-Am. Thinks thaaat article was titled "Born too early".

I had both alleged articles in Black&white photo copy...tossed long ago.

There is one here on PY someplace that was owned by some professional athlete.

Some people just don't know any better.

Might be the one that appeared in a car magazine a few years back in a photo with a Superbird - both owned by John Cena. At least that's what my memory says. Article even referred to it as a Judge. Ha Ha.

One was in HPP recently but with different wheels etc.

Looks like a '57 Convert. in front of it.
