Default !7 inch AR sc200s wheels

Well I just ordered my 17 inch x8 for the front and 17 x 9.5 for the back, with 5 inch backspacing for the front and 5.5 for the back.Going to lower the car 2 inches all round. After looking at what "Streetking" had done it should fit ok,I hope,as its a six week custom order and I am stuck with the wheels if they don,t.I don,t know if "Streetking "had to any other mods to make them fit but I hope not.Going to use 255/50/17 out back to keep the stock tire hieght of 27 inches so thr speedo still reads correct and 225 up front.Any comments or suggestions.

The stock tire height on a '70-'72 is closer to 26 inches.

FWIW

Well, what I have researched on the stock 71 tire, a F70-15,Is they are 26.9 inches tall. Also I am running the performance option,a 3:73 rear gear,so a little tall will help make it more tolerable cruising.
Larry, yes those are the wheels you posted but since my car is close to the lucern blue,I have ordered the wheels with the light gray spoke option on the spokes.I thought they might look a little more striking on a blue T/A.

Stock '71 tires would have been F70-14, or F60-15. No F70-15.

27" tires may well work fine on your application, but they're taller than stock by about an inch.
