DESCRIPTION
One of 942 so equipped in 1974, this low-mileage Pontiac Firebird Trans Am uses the high-torque 455/310 HP Super Duty V-8 in concert with a 3-speed automatic transmission. This matching numbers example shows a believed-actual 48,000 miles with a single repaint in beautiful Buccaneer Red to match the bright White on Red bucket seat interior. It is also very well documented, coming as it does with the original sales literature, order guide, owner's manual, general information book, original invoice, new vehicle inspection sheet, emissions information and PHS records.

Incorrect dash bezel and glove box door (RTS). For such a low mileage car, it makes me wonder why it was changed. Seat belt buckles look wrong too. Deluxe interior, but no rear ash trays.

The rear licence plate holder is incorect color it should not be black.

The car has been re-done and there a quit a few things wrong in the motor compartment too. Cool color combo though!

Dana Mecum was all over this one on camera...under the hood and following the car as it rolled on, he was especially interested in the repop window sticker...real SD car?
