Default 1969 Judge with Power Antenna Option

Bringing this topic back to the top to see if any new information is out there. There was another thread out there where our dear friend Steve Hoog was on the hunt to answer this question.
http://forums.maxperformanceinc.com/...=power+antenna

I was working on our 69 Judge registry this evening and went through all of my PHS's and could not find one with Power Antenna code UPC code U75/Order Form Code 381 with "The Judge" option. So lets see what you guys think.

Could one order a power antenna with the judge option?
Has anyone been able to 100% see with their own eyes a such animal?
Can we pick up where Steve left off and answer this question

i dont think it ever happened...and why i think that is..why would GM build in a warranty problem..one time you forget its up and the spoiler hits an snaps the mast..whos going to pay for that...GM?or the Customer?

or just make it that the option cancels the possibility of having a cause and affect situation. (is it affect or effect?)

doesnt mean they arent out there..and theres a few people that say it has..but.. no concrete proof...

the dealer would do about anything youd pay for..

Do you know if it really came with the power antenna?

The memo says it would be removed if it was ordered with it.
Perhaps the 'PHS' shows it but the car didn't have it?

How often does the PHS and the actually build not correspond on these cars? It can be very often.

I sure the order for the antenna would have been picked up & then canceled during the build . I'm sure it's just like when I tried to get the SD in my 73 GTO, the order went in & got printed BUT when it came to build it it was stopped on the line & pulled aside & built out of line with a std. 4 bbl 400, which is what happened to my 73. A lot of salesman try all kinds of things to get cars ordered. The order gets put in but when it get to what ever car line the original invoice will have it listed but as it starts to go down the line the order get corrected during the build. (if you don't know I'm a retired GM service mgr but also have done just about all the jobs at a dealership including salesman.) When I was selling the new 84-85 line I was at a Pontiac dealer & tried to order several different options which during the build came back thru the mail system from Pontiac that says referred back to dealer for correction delay on build.

First time I see that bulletin, makes sense. Very interesting about that Canadian Judge PHS with a power antenna. I'd love to know if the car was actually built as per the invoice.

There is a similar (but less obvious) comparative in the 68 GP; it had a power antenna option and many were built with them. Unfortunately for buyers the 68 GP had a unique trunk lid as compared to all the other B bodies in that it was shaped like an Isosceles Trapezoid (the end near the bumper was wider than the end near the back glass) so if your antenna was all the way up the trunk lid rubbed against the antenna. Worse is if the antenna was partially raised it would get mangled when you closed the trunk lid by the tip getting caught by the lid itself.

Dumb but they built lots of them.
