Have had two June '69 cast 400 XH coded blocks that were cast with the '70 9799914 casting number (5 motor mount bolt bosses per side). Have viewed several more June '69 dated 400's that were the same. Would be interesting to find out if any late May of '69 400 blocks were also cast as 9799914's.

Earliest 400 block 9799914 that was used in 69 application I’ve found was F04-9 . Also noted was upper engine boss ground off on all these 9799914 blocks that were used in 69 cars .
