I just bought a 74 T/A and it has a functional shaker unlike the 70-72's. I have owned a 73 and 74 T/A and have never seen this before. Was this unusual?

Thanks,
Scott

Sounds like it could be a 74 GTO shaker. One large, centrally located solenoid that opens the door. There should be a thermovacuum switch on the scoop as well.
