I have a 76 T/A 455 4 speed. My problem is horrible wheel hop. Is there a cure for this, as the car is stock.

I had the same problem. Install some new 5 leaf springs with urethane bushings in the eyelets and the upper and lower perches. This, along with a set of stiff rear shocks should cure your wheel hop problems. I know Nunzi has a spring that is set-up to like a traction bar. The front eyelet is up a bit which preloads the pinion angle. I've had no experirnce with them but I've heard from quite a few that they work great. Best part is they retain all stock height and street manners.
