Awesome--does this car run a powerglide or is it a Lenco or ??? Sorry for the dumb question, but I am not familiar with the combo.

There were pictures posted a while back of the mods made to Scott's chassis for adding the clutch/5-speed (ie - "sliders" for the tranny). I'm sure if he went through that trouble to install it that he ran it, but don't know if he kept it in the car.

Several places I have read that they were going to post the ET slip the longer this goes on the fishier it looks. Should have been able to fabricate several in this timeframe.

Actually they have a call into Gach to see where he had his done. He just hasn't gotten back to them yet.

Be patient. LOL.

Scott tried the clutch/Liberty, but ran into some issues with the clutch as supplied by Boninfante. I bought the Trick can from him this year and somebody else scored the clutch.

I don't think, at his level, Scott was deterred by the clutch maintenance issue. Rather, from my limited discussions with him on the matter, it was an issue of the clutch not being right from the manufacturer and Scott's not having the patience with dealing with the clutch not being right, despite several attempts to send the clutch back to Boninfante to have it corrected. That is simply my opinion and is not a reflection on Boninfante, as Jim Yanoski has a Boninfante clutch and was happy with it when he ran a Lenco.

I believe that Scott felt that he juice from the Liberty, versus the 'Glide, simply wasn't worth the squeeze.

Ken,

Do not drag anybody in the mud with you. Frank G's reputation is impeccable, as well as everyone involved in the project. Everyone here knows that.

A timeslip fabricated for talking heads is not his priority. Many people saw him at the track when he made the runs.

I'm sure that it will be posted up eventually.

See you at PRI

Frank G has no need to post anything for J Wallace or for K Criss on this board.

The people at the track saw the run, as Gaby mentioned.

Pure "Chit Stirring" from a guy with 3 posts and a guy with thousands of "Chit Stirring" posts. I wonder if "Mr 3 Post" lives south of the Wolverine State and is drumming up some passion for the Buckeye/Wolverine game this Saturday? That is probably a much more worthwhile discussion.
