Interesting Plug heat range temperature curve: I assume your FR5 is on the cold side (but still researching to compare to my NGK 6)

Nothing against any of the Pontiac shops, but IMHO it was the influx of outside shops.

BES, Gaby, Dan, Marcella, ETC all work on other brands and bring that to our products.

Technology changes so quickly if you're not on the front lines you're way behind.

Great job to all involved. That's quite an accomplishment for a set of old E-heads. I can't wait to see it making some passes.

Mike,
Thanks for all of the kind words. It has been a treat to work with you on your engine combo over the years. Funny when you think about it, these are the same Edelbrock head castings that you had when we first started working together. They said we couldn't get them in the 9's back then too. That was my first exposure to John Marcella, and I am pleased to be able to collaberate with him on this, as well as branch into other projects he has done for me as well.

Congrats on hitting your numbers and getting it back on the pump. Your level of commitment to everything you do is second to none, and your car is just one branch of that.

Thanks
SB

Congratulations on the successful dyno results! Thanks for sharing how you got there Mike. You have a lot of energy and passion for your racing program, you must work very long hours, achieving goals, despite setbacks.

Similar Deal with Marty Palbykin, in the 90s. He went with Jim Valeko (a "Chebby" and "other Guys" type porter, Tom Earheart ( Twin Turbo BB Chebby Boat and Multi-Turbo V-6 "UNLIMITED" snowmobile racer, and a local PRO Mod Racer who built great chassis, and they all brought new ideas to his PONTIAC program. Even included a "token" Ford Guy in the deal.

You get locked into a given clique and that clique will punish you if your ideas do not agree with the clique's gospel.
