Tiger heads and intake are sent to BES. 535 short block going back to Butler to freshen. I sold the APD 1050 Maxspeed and bought the 1250 version. Sent the Hughes converter back back to loosen 200 more ( 6700). Looking forward to seeing how much it picks up.

New engine, 461 with High Ports. Pump gas, should be around 700HP. The old 455 deserved a good retirement. Freshen it and put it in a 79 TA street car with smaller can and RA round port ex manifolds.

With plans to get to the first 2020 LTA event on the 1.5 mile Loring ME track, just minor changes to the lakester-

> Halotron-1 agent replacing foam in driver's fire system
> Some body work around the hole I made for the blower
> Try to find someone to mold a "smooth" Lexan body piece over the blower
> Add a solenoid activated secondary fuel bypass, for consistent lean warm-up
> Source a blower pulley to allow driving the blower a little faster
> Perhaps outfit the '59 GMC as tow/push/support vehicle
> Most important- stitch my name in place of prior owner's name on the used -15 firesuit I bought

Little more on my new engine. Its a bottom filled 73 400 block, .035 over Ross Fts, splayed billet caps, billet Crower mid weights and Scat 4.25 forged crank. It will have the 100% SD lifter brace and the High Ports with 2.20 valves were done by SD Performance and go 359cfm. Norris SS 1.65rockers with stud girdle. Big custom pump gas cam, 11-1 CR. Crower roller lifters. Northwind intake to start. Have several other to try also.
Will start with a HP 850, then HP 1000 and will try a 1050 and see how that does.

I am cutting the steel roll bar out and installing a cm cage. Going to reinforce the stock suspension points. I will also be notching the frame while I have it apart. I will also need all new safety equipment. The plan is to get my license to go faster than 10.00.
My last race I had 240lbs of weight, a 1.700 restrictor plate and pulled 4 degrees of timing in high gear. Still ran 9.99/133. Had a best 60' of 1.342.

Lunati Mech. Roller. Blow through kit. Freshened 455 short block. Put everything under a stock hood. Freshen the trany and put in my spare converter. New paint and Judge stripes. Black out rims and trim. … After Christmas some re-wiring to put in a heater and wipers.

Does getting a car running for the first time in four years count as an upgrade?..... asking for a friend

This winter should be easier than the last three for me. Just putting on the tubular front a arms and coil overs. Then can change the stance and adjust for better weight transfer...

Been in mothballs for over 10 years. Same old 542 IA 1 and SC heads.
Ditched the glide and went turbo 400 and going to some m5 to drink. Did some black wheels and dumped the aero scoop to keep up with the times.
