Default Tiger Run

I'm just putting the finishing touches on my packing so that I can leave first thing in the morning on my Tiger Run trip. Although the event check-in is not until Friday, June 7 I had to put my personal travel before the event so I could make it home in time for Pontiac Heaven. I'll drive to Ely, NV tomorrow and then end up in Twin Falls, ID to visit some friends that I worked with for a long time. Then over to Boise to visit another friend and his family. He and I have been friends since we were 8 years old. Then Thursday I will head over to Bend. Friday check-in, Saturday car show, Sunday drag race, and Monday start the trek back home. It should be a lot of fun.

There has not been much talk here about Tiger Run? Last time I made was in 2003, Arnie was there but it was a total wash out. Really not sure I'm going to make it this year? Not that I'm some big player or anything. As of right now getting my Model T going and saving for Speedweek is top priority.

Really going to be great as the new location at the Riverhouse is fantastic, not to mention the weather is going to be stellar!!!! No rain this year.

Got back home today. I plan on leaving the car at the track on Friday, but it's just for a parking place. I won't race until Saturday. I think I will install the mufflers to have a better chance of staying above 6.40.
