Default 1998 Tacoma radiator

I'm having a problem finding a manual shift replacement radiator for a 98 Tacoma. Does it really matter? Can you just block the coolant ports off?

It's a 2.4 4 cylinder two wheel drive.
Haven't checked Rock Auto and never heard of your second link. I'll check them out. The reason I'm asking is that I have found some mail order ones much cheaper than my local parts stores but they all show the coolant line fittings. Any problems would of course be much easier to deal with locally but I'm trying to save a few bucks here.

Greg, I'm not familiar with toyota trucks, but if the radiator is built like a GM is, you can definitely use an automatic radiator in a stick shift truck. I would assume the automatic radiator might actually be a little larger/thicker because of having to also cool the transmission through the coolant, where the stick radiator would have less thermal load. just an assumption on my part though, no actual knowledge.

This link suggests the radiator could be interchangeable:

https://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/19.../radiator.html

Some of the listing do differentiate manual and automatic, some don't.

I'm feeling like they are interchangeable also. In fact, I'm pretty sure I've done it before where the cooler just wasn't used on the replacement radiator.
This company actually mentions in their description that some radiators may have coolant lines that are not used. Can't find it now.https://mbenzgram.com/products/csf-9...iABEgLKbPD_BwE

Thanks for the links guys. I think it'll be ok. I suspect that the reason I can't find one that is manual specific is that there's probably no sense in making two radiators when one could apply to both trucks.
